Careers
Build your career where you're known by name
Salon 695 is adding to its roster in two ways: a few chairs available to rent, and a small new team of hair and esthetics employees working alongside twenty-five independent artisans. We are selective, and we would rather talk than post a listing.
Why Salon 695
A house built on people who stay
Booking, coordinated for you
Renters keep the chair. The front desk answers the phone, fields new clients, and handles the calendar, so you spend your day working, not chasing appointments.
A clientele that values craft
The corridor around Cherry Creek, Wash Park, and Belcaro brings a discerning clientele willing to pay for real skill, not the cheapest slot on the schedule.
A brand worth standing behind
Thirty years in Denver, repositioning toward an understated, unhurried kind of luxury. It is a name you can tell a client you work at and mean it.
Colleagues who stay
Several of the artisans here have been behind the chair for twelve, twenty, even thirty-plus years. You would be joining people who built careers in this room, not a rotating roster.
Two paths
Two ways to work here
Independent stylists and estheticians
Rent a chair
Most of the salon runs on this model today, about twenty-five independent artisans who rent their own chair or station. The uncommon part: the front desk coordinates booking on your behalf, so you stay in the chair and we answer the phone. The full picture of chair rental at Salon 695 lives on its own page.
A new addition to the house
Employee roles in hair and esthetics
Salon 695 is adding a small number of hybrid employee positions, hair and esthetics work, alongside its independent renters. It is a handful of roles, not a hiring wave, for someone who wants steady work inside an established, well-regarded house rather than building an independent book from scratch. If an employee role sounds like the better fit, mention that when you reach out.
What we look for
Selective, on purpose
Salon 695 has a small number of openings at any given time, on either path. We would rather fill one chair with the right person than fill several quickly. Here is what we weigh:
- Real skill in your craft, built over real years, not a certificate alone.
- A calm, attentive way with clients: the same unhurried care the salon asks of every chair.
- A fit with a quiet, premium room. This is not a high-volume, high-turnover floor.
- For the employee roles specifically: a willingness to work as part of a small, coordinated team rather than run your own book.
The room you'd be joining
Thirty years of Denver clients, and it shows
The reputation that draws a discerning clientele is the same reputation you would be lending your name to.

A real conversation
There is no online application to fill out. The front desk will talk with you directly about the room, the clientele, and what fits.

A visit to the salon
If it looks like a fit on both sides, the next step is a tour of the space at 695 S. Colorado Blvd. and an introduction to the team.
Call 303-777-8282, or use the contact form and mention the role you have in mind. You can also read our story or meet the team you would be joining.
